EMTEL is a service of EMKABIRNET TECHNOLOGIES, a registered Nigerian business with its head office at NOAG3, Makarfi Road, Rigasa, Kaduna, Nigeria. Phone: 07036623365.

Acceptance

By purchasing a plan or connecting to an EMTEL hotspot you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Service description

EMTEL provides pay-as-you-go Starlink-powered internet at published locations. Speeds, availability, and coverage vary and are provided on a best-effort basis. Our plans are defined as follows:

• Daily: Valid for 24 hours from activation.
• Weekly: Valid for 7 days from activation.
• Monthly: Valid for 30 days from activation.

Provisioning and activation

A successful payment does not necessarily mean network access is immediately activated. If payment is successfully confirmed but network provisioning is temporarily unavailable (e.g., due to local network setup or maintenance), the payment remains recorded as valid. Your access will be provisioned automatically when the network becomes available, subject to the applicable plan conditions. If we ultimately cannot deliver the purchased service, our refund policy applies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the network for illegal activity, spam, unauthorized access of others' systems, or activities that damage or overload the network. Abuse may result in suspension without refund.

Payments and refunds

All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways. Vouchers and subscriptions are single-use and non-transferable. Refunds are available when a payment succeeds but service is not delivered due to technical failure — contact support within 7 days. Consumed data or time is non-refundable.

Device limits

Each plan has a maximum simultaneous device limit. Exceeding the limit disconnects additional devices automatically.

Liability

EMTEL is not liable for indirect damages arising from service interruptions. Where required by law, our maximum liability is the amount paid for the affected plan.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
